You’re a dad. Or a mom. Or imagine of being one if you’re not either one. You know it, I know it, and most importantly your kids know it. But what can you do to be the best dad/mom/whatever in the world? Well for starters you need to become an army of one! This journey has taught me a whole lot of things and now it’s time to share all that intel with you.
I am an information addict and always looking to learn more.
I am an information addict and always looking to learn more. You can find me on YouTube watching Ted-Eds, listening to a book, or reading blogs at home. I love learning. This is a great way for me to share my passion for learning with others!
I have found that the best way for me to learn is by finding people who are smarter than me and learning from them. I am constantly looking for new ways to improve myself and my life. If you think about it, there are lots of opportunities in our lives where we can learn something new. I truly believe that this blog is one of them.
My primary goal was to lose weight, get fit, and stay active in order to be able to play with my daughter for years to come.
My primary goal was to lose weight, get fit and stay active in order to be able to play with my daughter for years to come. I want her to look at me and say “Wow! My dad is so cool!” I want to be an example for her of what it means to live a healthy lifestyle. It’s not easy, but it’s worth the effort. I don’t just want to be here for my daughter; I want to be around for many years to come. I have a long way to go, but I’m on the right track. I hope that you enjoy reading about my fitness journey and maybe even learn something along the way.
I realized that I had to make some serious changes. I focused on eating healthy, and I started tracking my calories. This made me more accountable for what I ate and helped me understand the amount of food I was consuming in relation to my weight-loss goals. Once I got into a routine, things started falling into place! I lost weight and felt better than ever! I am now able to spend more time with my child, because I am not always exhausted from being so busy. I no longer feel guilty about putting in long hours at work, and this has given me a better quality of life overall.
This journey has allowed me to share everything that I have learned. I want everyone to know how much it can help them. I want people to understand that the health of their body does not have anything to do with weight or age! Your health is a direct result of your choices. You cannot expect to make poor decisions and then be healthy. It just doesn’t work that way! It doesn’t matter how young or old you are; if you want to be healthy, then you need to start making better choices. You don’t have to make drastic changes overnight either. Simply start by adding more fruits and vegetables into your diet each day. Start walking more often and try cutting back on processed foods as much as possible. If you can do this consistently for just one month, then I promise that you will feel like a new person!
Thank you for all your support in reading this far down, it means a lot!
